Dressing To Feel Good

Hey, Y’all!

Last night on my show Kickin’ It With KeKe, my guest Latasha Owner and Operator of Milestone Boutique and I, discussed the topic: Dressing to feel good.

Do you think the way a person dresses, has any effect on the way they feel?

I do!

Because when we look good, we tend to feel good. I know I do!

Two of my favorite accessories for fall are scarves and boots. They make me feel confident, sexy, and ready to take on any task in front of me.

What are some of your go-to styles this season?

I also love a nice coat/jacket. I don’t get to wear my coats and jackets much here in Louisiana, but that doesn’t stop me from loving or buying them.

Appearance matters.

First impressions are lasting impressions.

My mother taught my siblings and me never to leave the house half-stepping or looking any kind of way, as she called it. Meaning, always look your best!

I love changing my hair. No guys! For real. I change my hairstyle a lot! It’s therapeutic, yet, empowering. You never know who you’ll get with me. I love that about myself.

Our appearance can radiate positive or negative energy. The choice is ours.

Have you ever sat in a room and someone entered and suddenly the energy changed?

I have and it was profoundly gratifying. That person made me want what they possessed. Since that day, I decided to be the person who shifts the mood of the people I encounter.

What piece of clothing in your closet sets the tone for your mood?

Let me know your answers.

I told you some of mine.

It’s only fair that you do the same.

Dressing to feel good should be a way of life.

Let me know if you agree.

Thanks for Kickin’ It With KeKe!

Until next time, be good to yourself💜
